Metaphysical meaning of Menuhoth (mbd)
Menuhoth (A.V., Manahethites), menu'-hoth (Heb.)--resting; quieting; restoring; bequeathing; giving; forsaking; abandoning.
The same people as the Manahathites. They were inhabitants of a place, half of whom were descended from Shobal, the founder of Kiriath-jearim, and half from Salma, who founded Beth-lehem (see I Chronicles 2:52, 54).
