Metaphysical meaning of transcendent (rw)

Metaphysical meaning of transcendent (rw)
transcendent God--God above or beyond His universe, apart from it. God is more than His universe; He is prior to and is exalted above it, but at once He is in His universe as the very essence of it. God is both transcendent and immanent.

Ed Rabel

Omnipresence has to be immanent/transcendent. That is the very meaning of the word. Jesus did say, "The kingdom of God is within you," and many persons jump to the conclusion that Jesus meant that the kingdom of God is ONLY within them. This view tends to overlook the transcendency of God. Only God can be the immanent/transcendent presence. A very important statement is contained within Mr. Fillmore's paragraph from The Revealing Word: "GOD IS MORE THAN HIS UNIVERSE." Ed Rabel - Metaphysics 1, The Divine Paradox, Immanent/Transcendent
