Metaphysical meaning of Azaliah (mbd)
Azaliah, az-a-h'-ah (Heb.)--Jehovah reserves; whom Jah has separated; beside Jehovah; Jah is noble.
Father of Shaphan, the scribe, whom Josiah, king of Judah, sent to help repair the house of God (II Chron. 34:8).
Meta. A thought of consecration and of nearness to that which Jehovah implies (Jehovah reserves, whom Jah has separated, beside Jehovah, Jah is noble). This thought works very strongly in our consciousness and our organism when loyalty to Truth (Josiah) is dominating our thoughts and we are seeking earnestly to make at-one-ment with God.
