Metaphysical meaning of Oholah (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Oholah (mbd)
Oholah (A.V., Aholah), o-ho'-lah (Heb.)--she has her own tent; her own tabernacle; her temple; her own habitation; her tent.

A symbolical name given to Samaria, because of her adultery in departing from Jehovah (Ezek. 23:4).

Meta. Samaria (watch, watchtower or mountain) refers to the department of the objective consciousness of man that functions through the head. Oholah (meaning she has her own tent, and being a symbolical name given to Samaria because of her adultery in departing from Jehovah) signifies the seemingly corruptible body that is the result of the mixed material ideas of the outer, intellectual man regarding himself. He sees in his organism only a physical machine that is brought forth by physical man; he does not recognize Divine Mind, God, or its perfect idea, Jehovah, the Christ, in his body. Thus he has departed from Jehovah, who is the real maker of the organism, and has caused his body to manifest according to his own material thought of it (a tent refers to the body).
