Metaphysical meaning of Shelomoth (mbd)
Shelomoth, shel'-o-moth (Heb.)--pacifications; peacemaking; peacefulness; love of peace.
a A descendant of Levi (I Chron. 24:22). He is called Shelomith in I Chronicles 23:18. b Other Levites (I Chron. 23:9; 26:25).
Meta. The same as Shelomith: the love for and establishment of peace in consciousness; at least the awakening to an understanding of the value of peace. "And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence for ever" (Isa. 32:17).
