Metaphysical meaning of Agee (mbd)
Agee, ag'-e-e (Heb.)--fugitive.
A Hararite (II Sam. 23: 11) .
Meta. A thought in consciousness that is high and uplifting (Hararite means mountaineer), but is not strong enough to stand its ground against the Philistines (outer, rebellious, sense thoughts). This high idea therefore flees from the seeming strength of error, and becomes a fugitive; however, it brings forth a son, Shammah (fame, renown), who becomes one of David's (love's) mighty men of valor and aids effectually in defeating the Philistines.
