Metaphysical meaning of Anim (mbd)
Anim, a'-n`im (Heb.)--fountains; natural springs; (weeping) eyes.
A city in the hill-country of Judah (Josh. 15:50).
Meta. New life, from the one unfailing Source of all life, springing into consciousness (fountains). Mountains symbolize high places in consciousness, exalted states of mind, and Judah symbolizes praise. By practicing praise and prayer we come into a realization of the truth of Jesus Christ's words, "The water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up unto eternal life."
Unless the individual has been quite fully awakened to spiritual understanding and thought, the outer man looks upon his renewal of vitality and strength as having a natural, or physical, cause (natural springs); thus he brings about a negative expression of life (weeping eyes) .
