Metaphysical meaning of Athaiah (mbd)
Athaiah, ath-a-i'-ah (Heb.)--created of Jah; whom Jehovah made; time of Jah; Jehovah's opportunity.
A prince of Judah who lived in Jerusalem after the return from the Babylonian captivity (Neh. 11:4).
Meta. The attitude of mind in which man acknowledges Jehovah as the source of his existence (created of Jah, whom Jehovah made). This attitude of mind is trusting, and it believes in the working of the divine law (time of Jah, Jehovah's opportunity). Jehovah's time is measured by steps in overcoming in consciousness, by the orderly working out of the law of God; it has nothing to do with days and years as man reckons time.
