Metaphysical meaning of Barachiah (mbd)
Barachiah (A. V., Barachias), bar-achl'-ah (Gk.)--blessed of Jah; prospered of .Jehovah; whom Jehovah hath blessed.
Father of Zachariah, a Hebrew prophet who was slain by his own people in their blindness to the real Truth (Matt. 23:35).
Meta. A humbling or prostrating of the outer sense thoughts and activities that the inner Christ, or I AM, may be given first place in consciousness; a consecrated attitude of mind (blessed of Jah; father of an Israelitish prophet).
