Metaphysical meaning of beka (mbd)
beka (A. V., bekah), be'-kå (Heb.)--portion; half; cleft; remnant; half shekel; half measure.
One half of a shekel (Exod. 38:26). A shekel was a certain weight of either silver or gold. A gold shekel was worth about $5.50. A silver shekel was worth about 75 cents.
Meta. A degree of recognition (portion, half, cleft) of the rich and everywhere present substance of Spirit. (Money is a symbol of substance.)
