Metaphysical meaning of Ben-ammi (mbd)
Ben-ammi, ben-am'-ml (Heb.)--son of my people; son of my kindred; son of my tribe, i. e., my countryman; my tribesman.
Son of Lot by his younger daughter (Gen. 19:38), and progenitor of the Ammonites.
Meta. The offspring of, and a ruling thought in, the darkened phase of consciousness in man that Lot signifies. (Lot means dark-colored, hidden; he represents the part of man's subjective consciousness that is still in darkness.)
