Cappadocia, cap-pa-do'-_i-å (Gk. from Pers.)--fine horses.
A province of Asia Minor (Acts 2:9; I Pet. 1: 1) . It was noted for its fine pasture lands and for its horses, cattle, asses, and sheep.
Meta. A union in consciousness with the substance (pastures) of life, whereby the life activities and forces, the strength and vitality of the organism (horses, cattle, and sheep), are sustained.
