Metaphysical meaning of Chemosh (mbd)
Chemosh, che'-mosh (Heb.)--subduer; depressor; vanquisher; an incubus; concealed; yearning fire; a hearth; the planet Saturn (evil, dark star).
A national god of the Moabites (I Kings 11:7,33).
