Metaphysical meaning of Chephar-ammoni (mbd)
Chephar-ammoni (A.V., Chephar-haammonai), che'-phär-am'-mo-n l (Heb.)--village of the Ammonites.
A city of the Benjamites, in the land of Canaan (Josh. 18:24).
Meta. A thought center in man that, though given over to the activity of faith (Benjamites), still retains some of its old Ammonitish tendencies and beliefs (village of the Ammonites). (See AMMONITES.)
