Metaphysical meaning of Chesalon (mbd)
Chesalon, ches'-a-lon (Heb.)--loin; fleshy; fat; strength; great hope; sure confidence; fertile.
A place on the border of Judah, in the land of Canaan (Josh. 15:10). It is mentioned as being on "the side of mount Jearim on the north." Mount Jearim is a mountain on the north border of Judah, a few miles west of Jerusalem.
Meta. A consciousness of physical strength (loin; fleshy; fat; strength). Under the influence of the higher ideals that Judah signifies, this consciousness of strength will be raised to the understanding that all true strength is founded in Spirit and works out great good to the individual who realizes God as his unfailing, abiding strength (great hope, pure confidence, fertile).
