Metaphysical meaning of Chileab (mbd)
Chileab, eh;l'-e-ab (Heb.)--like unto the father; totality of the father, i.e., perfection of all that the father is.
A son of David, by Abigail, who had been the wife of Nabal the Carmelite (II Sam. 3:3). In I Chronicles 3:1 this son of David is called Daniel instead of Chileab.
Meta. Daniel signifies spiritual judgment. Chileab here refers to love (like into the father; David symbolizing love) established in judgment.
