Clement, clem'-ent (Lat. from Gk.)--tender; merciful; mild; kind.
A fellow worker of Paul's, whom Paul mentioned in his Epistle to the Philippians (Phil. 4:3).
Meta. The gentle, soothing, releasing (tender, merciful mild, kind) quality of the word in its calming, equalizing. healing activities in the consciousness. (Paul, in his missionary work, represents the word of Truth in its ministry to the whole of man's being.)
