Metaphysical meaning of coat (mbd)
coat, of Jesus, without seam (John 19:23, 24).
Meta. The Truth in its harmonious expression and unchangeable perfection.
Regeneration forms a new mind and a new body consciousness, or, as symbolically expressed in the Scriptures, "new heavens and a new earth." The seamless coat of Jesus symbolizes a consciousness of the indestructible unity of life and substance in the body consciousness. This consciousness inheres in the executive department of mind in man (soldiers), and can be exercised by Spirit in body projection when so desired. Jesus now lives in the heavens of the mind and has power to project His body consciousness and to make it appear to those who are not developed to His plane of idealism.
