Metaphysical meaning of Cub (mbd)
Cub (A.V., Chub), cub (Heb.)--thorn bush; a thorn.
Probably a Nubian tribe. Ezekiel named it (with Ethiopia, Put, Lud, and other peoples! for destruction by the sword (Ezek. 30:5). "They...that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down" (Ezek. 30:6).
Meta. A darkened, thorny state of thought that gives its substance to the upbuilding and sustaining of the Egypt consciousness. (See EGYPT.)
