Metaphysical meaning of Dara (mbd)
Dara, da'-ra (Heb.)--pearl of wisdom; bearer, holder, i.e., the arm.
A shortened form of Darda. He is called Darda in I Kings 4:31; he was a son of Zerah of the tribe of Judah (I Chron. 2:6).
Meta. The recognition by man that he is, or may become, the holder or bearer of true spiritual understanding--the Christ wisdom (pearl of wisdom). The idea of expressing wisdom also enters into the significance of Dara (the arm bespeaks execution, expression, doing). There is still something of the human or sensate in this thought, however; in the true Christ wisdom, which Solomon signifies, the limited sense belief is put away. See DARDA.
