Metaphysical meaning of Dimonah (mbd)
Dimonah, dl-mo'-nah (Heb.)--pining; wasting away; consumed; languished; river course, i.e., channel eroded by water.
A southern city of Judah (Josh. 15: 22); it is thought to he the same place as the Dibon of Nehemiah 11:25.
Meta. The significance is much the same as that of Dibon; Dimonah refers to the denying, letting go, or wearing away of error beliefs, that one may become established in Truth ideals and practices. (See DIBON.)
