Metaphysical meaning of Eldaah (mbd)
Eldaah, el-da'-ah (Heb.)--whom God has called; invocation of God; knowledge of God; God of understanding; wisdom of God.
Son of Midian and grandson of Abraham and Keturah (Gen. 25:4).
Meta. A central thought that, although it belongs to the sense phase of man's consciousness, responds in measure to the quickening presence of Spirit (whom God has called). It perceives that God is the source of understanding (God of understanding, wisdom of God)yet it does not bring forth definite fruit in consciousness. (Eldaah had no descendants, so far as is known.)
