Metaphysical meaning of Elidad (mbd)
Elidad, e-h'-dad (Heb.)--God is love; God loves; loved of God; God's beloved; God nourishes.
Son of Chislon, a Benjamite. He was the prince chosen from this tribe to help divide the land of Canaan among the Israelites (Num. 34:21).
Meta. A keen discrimination and insight into Truth, and into man's relation to the various phases of Truth. This spiritual insight is the product of an active faith (Benjamin) and love (God is love, God loves) working in unison in man's consciousness; it is a great factor in helping to establish in their rightful places in the land of Canaan (the body consciousness) the true Israelitish thoughts, aspirations, qualities, and powers through which the body is to be redeemed, raised to spiritual expression and manifestation.
