Metaphysical meaning of Elzaphan (mbd)
Elzaphan, el'-za-phan (Heb.)--God of the left side, i.e., the north; God of the hidden; God of concealment; God is protector; hidden of God.
Son of Uzziel, and grandson of Kohath, who was one of Levi's sons (Exod. 6:22). Elizaphan is the same name.
