Metaphysical meaning of Eunice (mbd)
Eunice, eu'-nl-çe (Gk.)--conquering well; happily conquering; good victory.
Timothy's mother, a Jewish woman who believed. Her husband, Timothy's father, was a Greek (II Tim. 1:5; Acts 16:1).
Meta. A blending of our inner spiritual qualities of faith and love. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world, and love is the harmonizing influence in our life that brings us conscious joy and good (Paul writes of the unfeigned faith that dwelt in Eunice).
