Metaphysical meaning of Fortunatus (mbd)
Fortunatus, fôr-tu-na'-tus (Lat.)--fortunate; luck; happy; prospered.

A Christian man of Corinth; he came to Paul at Ephesus, and he carried Paul's first letter to the Corinthian church (I Cor. 16:17).

Meta. The opening of the consciousness to the greater good that is in store for those who love and serve God. Those who keep the divine law of Truth realize and receive true, spiritual riches, as well as abundant supply in the outer. According to I Corinthians 2:9, God has prepared, for them that love Him, greater good than they have asked or thought. As they unfold spiritually day by day, this good is revealed to them more and more fully by Spirit. To the human or sensate thought these persons are lucky, but those in understanding know that all things come about according to law.
