Metaphysical meaning of Gabbai (mbd)
Gabbai, ga'-hai (Heb.)--organic ingathering; collective increase; taxgatherer; collector; my exaltation; my grandeur; my pride.
Name of a Benjamite family, or of the head man of a family of Benjamites, who lived in Jerusalem after the return from the Babylonian captivity (Neh. 11:8).
Meta. A thought or group of thoughts that attracts. It attracts to itself, by its active exercise of faith (Benjamin), other thoughts of a faith character, as well as much substance and energy, that a harvest time of good may be brought about.
