Metaphysical meaning of Gallio (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Gallio (mbd)
Gallio, gal'-ll-o (Gk.)--one who lives on milk; white as milk.

A Roman proconsul of Achaia. He paid no attention when the Jews who opposed Christianity beat Sosthenes, the ruler of the synagogue at Corinth, and would have nothing to do with religious matters and differences (Acts 18:12-17).

Meta. A ruling thought that is entirely intellectual. It has no spiritual illumination, and no desire for anything of a spiritual nature. (The metaphysical use of gala or galactos, milk, to designate the most simple and elemental of Christian truths would indicate that that which Gallio signifies is limited to the most elemental and material phases of consciousness.)
