Metaphysical meaning of Gileadite (mbd)
Gileadite, gll'-e-ad-ite (fr. Heb.)--of or belonging to Gilead.
A descendant of Gilead of the tribe of Manasseh (Num. 26:29). Jair and Jephthah, two of the judges of Israel, were Gileadites (Judg. I0:3; 11:1-40).
Meta. A discerning, discriminating, judging thought belonging to the Gilead consciousness in man. (See GILEAD.)
