Hadadezer, had-ad-e'-zer (Heb.)--mighty is the help; powerful succor; Hadad or Adad is his help; joyous help.
Son of Rehob and king of Zobah. Hadadezer was a seemingly powerful king defeated by David (II Sam. 8:3-12).
Meta. The ruling thought in the state of consciousness in man that believes that the intellect, directed by the senses, is man's greatest possible enlightener and help in all matters.
