Metaphysical meaning of Hagaba (mbd)
Hagaba, hag'-a-ba (Heb.)--a locust.
His descendants were of the Nethinim who returned from the Babylonian captivity (Neh. 7:48). The name is spelled Hagabah in Ezra 2:45.
Meta. This name signifies, like Hagab, a thought of service to God, in man's religious consciousness, yet with a destructive tendency. (The Nethinim were servants in the Temple.)
