A border town of Asher (Josh. 19:25).
Meta. The joy of an understanding heart (Asher means happy, and understanding and wisdom are the richest jewels with which an individual can ornament himself). Rubbed to brightness, and polished, suggest the wisdom and the excellent general characteristics that man grows into by daily use of his faculties and powers in cooperative association with his fellow men.
