Metaphysical meaning of Hazarmaveth (mbd)
Hazarmaveth, ha-zär-ma'-veth (Heb.)--village of death; court of death.
Son of Joktan, or a place in Arabia where some of Joktan's descendants settled (Gen. 10:26).
Meta. A central thought or group of thoughts belonging to the sense mind of man, having as its ruling idea a strong belief in death and in that which leads to disintegration, corruption. Its conception of justice (court) is always on the negative, condemnatory, and destructive side.
