Metaphysical meaning of Helbah (mbd)
Helbah, hel'-bah (Heb.)--fatness; richness; fertility; fertile region; rich country.
A city of Asher, from which the Asherites did not drive the Canaanitish inhabitants (Judg. 1:31).
Meta. A place of great richness and substance (fatness) in man's consciousness However, the consciousness of rich substance and of the possibilities (fertility) that lie in it is not fully dedicated to the use of the higher and more religious and spiritual activities of the individual. The Canaanites, the error, sense tendencies of the subconscious life forces, still utilize a portion of this rich mind substance for the furtherance of carnal thoughts and desires.
