Metaphysical meaning of Heli (mbd)
Heli, he'-h (Gk. fr. Heb.)--lifted up; ascent; summit; supreme; highest; most high.
Father of Joseph, the supposed father of Jesus (Luke 3:23).
Meta. A phase of man's consciousness that is always seeking spiritual progress, that is ever looking upward and onward to something higher and better. In its highest sense Heli refers to the Most High.
