Metaphysical meaning of Hermon (mbd)
Hermon, her-mon (Heb.)--sacred mountain; prominent mountain; high mountain; lofty; high; majestic; white.
A mountain that marked the boundary of the land beyond the Jordan that the Israelites took from the Amorites (Deut. 3:8; Josh. 12:1). Hermon is also mentioned in Psalms 89:12; 133:3, and Song of Solomon 4:8.
Meta. A high, sublime state of mind (lofty, prominent, sacred mountain).
