Metaphysical meaning of Higgaion (mbd)
Higgaion, hig-ga'-ion (Heb.)--hum; murmur; a low, vibrant sound; chant; enchantment; meditate, i.e., to speak in a low voice to oneself; thought; deep reflection; contemplation.
A word or name mentioned in Psalms 9: 16. In the Authorized Version it is mentioned also in the margin of Psalms 92:3.
Meta. To think deeply along any specific line of Truth that has just been presented to consciousness; contemplation; meditation; also the bringing of the whole being into harmony with one's deep inner thought (hum, murmur, a low vibrant sound).
