Metaphysical meaning of Horem (mbd)
Horem, ho'-rem (Heb.)--consecrated; sacred; devoted; set apart; shut off, i. e., removed from common use.
A fortified city of Naphtali (Josh. 19:38).
Meta. Strength (Naphtali) dedicated to God (consecrated) or regarded as sacred and devoted to spiritual service and use. This truly becomes a fortress, a stronghold, in consciousness; strength cannot grow less when one realizes one's strength as from God and as divine; it ever grows stronger, surer, and more abiding when it is thus recognized.
