Metaphysical meaning of Imrah (mbd)
Imrah, im'-rah (Heb.)--he is perverse; he is refractory; he is stubborn; he is rebellious; he is boastful; he extols himself.
Son of Zophah, of the tribe of Asher (I Chron. 7:36).
Meta. The Adversary, or personal ambition and selfishness, the determination (perhaps almost unconscious) to exalt self, working in man's higher religious understanding.
