Metaphysical meaning of Ishbah (mbd)
Ishbah, ish'-bah (Heb.)--he will praise; he will laud; he will soothe; he will appease; he will still.
"Father of Eshtemoa," of the tribe of Judah (I Chron. 4:17).
Meta. The activity of the spirit of praise in man's consciousness (he will praise). The habit of praising God in times of seeming stress or trial brings one into a calm and quiet state of mind very quickly and causes one to sense an inner peace and satisfaction (he will appease, he will soothe, he will still).
