Metaphysical meaning of Jahzeiah (mbd)
Jahzeiah (A. V., Jahaziah), jäh-ze-iah (Heb.)--whom Jehovah beholds; beholden of Jehovah; revelation of Jah; vision of Jehovah.
Son of Tikvah; he was one of those who were appointed by Ezra to find out which of the returned Jews had taken foreign wives (Ezra 10:15).
Meta. Spiritual seeing, discernment, understanding, the inner perception of divine ideas and their right relation in consciousness, the upward vision. These come about by one's steadfastly beholding the Christ, by keeping one's thoughts on the things of Spirit, and by seeking above all else an understanding heart."Incline thine ear unto wisdom, And apply thy heart to understanding;... cry after discernment,... lift up thy voice for understanding;... seek her as silver,... search for her as for hid treasures: Then shalt thou understand...
