Jaroah, ja-ro'-ah (Heb.)--pallor; moon; new moon; breathing; inspiring; exhaling; a sweet odor.
A chief of the tribe of Gad (I Chron. 5-14)
Meta. A ruling intellectual thought belonging to the power faculty in man (Gad is the son of Jacob who represents power) that is being spiritually inspired, and to the refining influence of this inspiration. (The moon relates to the intellect, or a reflected state of thought. It shines by borrowed light. Breathing signifies inspiration; a sweet odor refers to the refining influence of true aspiration and inspiration.)
