Jechiliah (A. V., Jecoliah), jech-i-li-ah (Heb.)--whom Jehovah makes able; able through Jah; strengthening of Jehovah; whom Jehovah overcomes; power of Jah; I can of Jehovah; enabled of Jah.
Wife of Amaziah and mother of Uzziah, kings of Judah (II Chron. 26:3).
Meta. The soul established in divine strength, in the firm conviction that enables one to say, "I can do all things in him that strengtheneth me" (Phil. 4:13).
