Metaphysical meaning of Joah (mbd)
Joah, jo'-ah (Heb.)--whose brother is Jehovah; Jah is brother; Jah is friend; confederated of Jehovah; likeness of Jehovah; the joining of the Lord.
a Son of Asaph, the recorder, in the reign of Hezekiah king of Judah (II Kings 18:18). b A Gershomite Levite (I Chron. 6:21), called Ethan in verse 42. c Son of Obed-edom, of the Korathite Levites, doorkeepers (I Chron. 26:4). d A son of Joahaz the recorder, in Josiah's reign, who was sent to help repair the house of Jehovah (II Chron. 34:8).
Meta. Man's divine relationship to his I AM, or indwelling Christ (Jehovah); an awakening by man to his close friendship, kinship, fellowship, with his true, higher self--brotherhood, by right of divine origin, or birth. Man's conscious union with his true, inner, spiritual self.
