Metaphysical meaning of Jokshan (mbd)
Jokshan, jok'-shan (Heb.)--fowler; snarer; one who enmeshes; adversary; insidious; harsh; offensive; hard; difficult.
Second son of Abraham by his wife Keturah (Gen. 25:2).
Meta. A sly, treacherous, deceitful tendency that often exists in the sense mind of man (snarer, fowler, insidious); also the results that follow the activity of this tendency (offensive, hard), and the difficult situations in which it places the individual who gives way to it. (See ISHBAK.)
