Metaphysical meaning of Mahaneh-dan (mbd)
Mahaneh-dan, ma'-ha-neh-dan (Heb.)--encampment of Dan; camp of judgment; host of judgment, inclined unto judgment.
A place just back of Kiriath-jearim, where the Danite warriors camped after they started out to take Laish (Judg. 18:12).
Meta. The judgment faculty (Dan) in temporary session (camp of judgment, inclined unto judgment) in Kiriath-jearim of Judah, or illumination and praise, preparatory to a further establishment of the power of discernment and discrimination (judgment) throughout the consciousness.
