Metaphysical meaning of Media (mbd)
Media, me'-di-å (fr. Heb.)--sufficiency; abounding; measure; capacity; middle portion; in the midst- midland.
A country in Asia that is always mentioned with Persia in the Bible. The Medes were descended from Madai, son of Japheth (Esth. 1:3).
Meta. The idea of sufficiency enters into the significance of Media and Madai only as the psychical in man is raised to spiritual understanding and realization. (See MADAI.)
