Merab, me'-rab (Heb.)--increase; enlargement; greatness; greatly multiplied; myriad.
Eldest daughter of Saul (I Sam. 14:49). Saul promised her to David for his wife, but gave her to Adriel the Meholathite instead (I Sam. 18:17, l9).
