Metaphysical meaning of Migdal-el (mbd)
Migdal-el, mig'-dal-el (Heb.)--tower of God; from the great elevation of God; strength of God; who is bound of God.
A fortified city of Naphtali (Josh. 19:38).
Meta. The exaltation of divine strength in consciousness. Naphtali refers to the faculty of strength; a tower bespeaks something lofty and exalted, and in the nature of a stronghold or fortress. This tower, being of God, denotes divine strength. (See MAGADAN.)
