Metaphysical meaning of Mispereth (mbd)
Mispereth, mis'-pe-reth (Heb.)--inscribing; engraving; writing; counting; tallying; scoring; numbering; enumerating; mustering; relating; narrating; declaring; telling.
An Israelite who came up out of the Babylonian captivity with Zerubbabel (Neh. 7:7).
Meta. That in man which takes account of and places an estimate on his true spiritual values (numbering) and records them in the memory of the individual, upon the inner tablet of the heart (engraving, inscribing, writing). This Mispereth quality in man comes up out of Babylon (sense confusion) with Zerubbabel--one who restores the worship of God. Mispereth also bespeaks spiritual radiation, or the giving forth of Truth (declaring, telling).
